Your role in a few words As a UI Designer specializing in Design Systems, youll be part of an experienced and highly skilled design team. Youll play a key role in designing, evolving, and implementing high-performing, consistent systems that drive adoption across teams and products. Youll be primarily responsible for creating, maintaining, and documenting our Design System, a core pillar in delivering a robust, world-class experience. Youll collaborate in French and English with our growing team of developers at Agendrix, as well as colleagues from the Citation Group in the United Kingdom, to bring high-quality interfaces to life. Your objective: elevate our Design System in performance, robustness, and impact, to deliver consistent and inspiring experiences across our entire ecosystem. Your main responsibilities Active contribution to the Design System -> Approximately 70% of your time Improve tools, resources, and contribution processes to keep the Design System alive, relevant, and easy to adopt across the Citation Group Manage core themes for all applications across the group Optimize variables to improve collaboration with the development team Ensure implemented components meet quality and consistency standards Propose improvements and design simple, distinctive elements to enrich the user experience Identify needs for new components as the platform evolves Contribute to accessibility and overall design consistency Quality control of application modules and interfaces -> Approximately 20% of your time Perform quality reviews of recent deliveries Identify and document UI and UX debt across the application Ensure execution quality of integrated interfaces Propose improvements and solutions informed by usage data Ongoing creation and improvement of application interfaces -> Approximately 10% of your time Collaborate with the product team to design simple and effective solutions to user challenges Improve user experience and journeys based on web and mobile usage data Participate in creative initiatives to make human resources management more modern and human Help the entire team grow and become more agile by sharing best practices and strengthening design as a pillar across the company What you bring Degree in graphic design, UI design, or equivalent training Experience managing a Design System at product scale, including creation, evolution, and governance Strong command of Figma and modern collaboration tools A sharp eye for detail and a strong appreciation for well-executed design Strong interest in web and mobile applications, with solid UX sensibility Ability to present and defend your ideas with both clarity and openness Passion for problem-solving, balancing aesthetics, strategy, and user experience Excellent proficiency in French and English, both written and spoken, to collaborate and document effectively with teams in Canada, the United Kingdom, and Australia UX skills, a good understanding of web or React development, animation or illustration, or icon design are considered assets Qualities were looking for Autonomous and well-organized Creative, analytical, and strategic Excellent interpersonal skills and strong team spirit Positive, resilient, and persistent Comfortable presenting, simplifying, and defending ideas Curious and open to constructive feedback A genuine passion for well-thought-out Design Systems Why join us A key role at the core of the product, with tangible impact on the experience of thousands of users An experienced and caring team where every idea matters Salary between $70,000 and $90,000, depending on experience Four weeks of vacation starting in your first year Ten wellness days per year (flexible personal days) 100% hybrid position; join us at our Sherbrooke office or work fully remotely 35-hour work week for better work life balance No overtime required Flexible hours and time off (we all have lives outside of work) Comprehensive group insurance with strong employer contribution Group RRSP with company contribution up to 5% of salary $500 annual fitness allowance Team activities and two company parties per year (summer and winter) Fast-growing company with real opportunities for advancement Modern management with performance reviews twice a year Professional association fees covered Modern equipment: MacBook Pro, Herman Miller chair, dual monitors, unlimited coffee How to apply Send us your resume and portfolio (we prefer seeing your passion through your work rather than in a cover letter).
