Position Overview: The Transport Logistics Coordinatoris the operational hub of our fleet. You will schedule, route, and monitor our drivers in real time, optimize transport operations, and ensure compliance with all safety and transportation regulations. Your role directly impacts operational efficiency, driver performance, and customer satisfaction. The wage for this position is $60,000- $80,000 based on skills and experience. Key Responsibilities: Dispatch transport drivers efficiently and safely. Plan and optimize routes to maximize fleet efficiency and minimize delays. Coordinate backhauls Strategize for efficiency and maximize output Maintain constant communication with drivers, providing real-time support and problem-solving for unexpected challenges. Track and monitor vehicle locations, performance, and adherence to schedules using dispatch software and GPS systems. Ensure all transportation activities comply with provincial regulations and safety standards. Collaborate with operations, yard, and logistics teams to coordinate daily dispatch needs. Respond promptly to customer inquiries, providing accurate delivery updates. Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in transport dispatch or fleet coordination is preferred. Knowledge of transportation regulations across Ontario and Quebec. Proficiency with Google Workspace and dispatch/tracking software (e.g., Fleet Complete, ScrapIT, CRM). Strong communication, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
