Role Description: Join our small, passionate team as a Designer and become part of countless love stories. In this client-facing, hands-on role, you will guide couples through the custom design journey while supporting production and studio operations. This position is ideal for someone who loves creative collaboration. Note, this is not a bench jeweller position. Responsibilities: Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, introducing them to the Alexis Gallery custom process (in-person and by phone). Guide clients through designing engagement and wedding rings, from concept through final approval. Present and review custom designs with clients in-studio and remotely, ensuring clarity and confidence at each step. Provide in-studio services, such as intaking rings for resizing, annual servicing, and repairs with a high level of care and professionalism. Support production and studio operations including inventory tracking, quality checks, shipment preparation, jewellery-related errands, and photography. Manage timely, polished email communication with clients and internal teams. Maintain accurate client records and task follow-ups within the company CRM. Ideal Candidate & Qualifications: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in the jewellery industry Jewellery diploma preferred but not mandatory Strong understanding of jewellery fundamentals (diamonds, gemstones, gold composition, ring anatomy, etc.). Warm, positive, and professional demeanour- comfortable working one-on-one with valued clients. Ability to communicate clearly and contribute in a collaborative team environment where a fun, supportive atmosphere is prioritized. Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. This role works solo in our Vancouver/Calgary/Ottawa studio while staying closely connected with the Alexis Gallery team across Canada. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. You will communicate with clients in-person, by phone, and via email, ensuring every interaction is handled with care and attention to detail. Training on our communication guidelines will be provided. Strong time-management skills and the ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment. Highly organized, responsible, and self-driven. You will manage a high volume of client communication and handle high-value goods; strong organizational habits are essential. Ability to handle high-value goods responsibly; training will be provided. Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for craftsmanship and quality. Training: During onboarding and shadowing with our design team, you will gain the tools and confidence needed to succeed in your role. Training will take place both locally and in Toronto. Willingness to travel to Toronto for training is required (transportation and accommodation will be provided). Location and Hours: This is a full-time, in-studio position at our downtown Vancouver/Ottawa/Calgary location with a consistent five-day schedule within our core studio hours (Monday to Saturday, 9:00am8:00pm).
