Truck Technician (310T certified or Red Seal) Job description: Trans-Frt McNamara is looking for licensed technicians who are motivated and determined to make an impact in the transportation industry. As a growing fleet we are looking for multiply individuals to fill a few positions located in Ayr, Ontario. We offer: Competitive hourly wages based on level of experience 100% Company paid extended health benefits Annual work boot allowance Company Overalls with laundry service Duties: Maintenance and preventative maintenance of company fleet to ensure efficient operation Perform routine maintenance on vehicles and machinery Responsible for the inspections, diagnosis, and repair on both tractors and trailers Diagnose mechanical issues and propose solutions Follow and practice workplace health and safety regulations and ensure proper disposal of hazardous waste Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance activities Contribute to maintaining a clean, safe and environmentally sound facility Other related tasks, as assigned Requirements: Valid 310T license or a valid RedSeal Proven experience as a Mechanic Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and engines Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong knowledge of preventative maintenance applications as well as the transportation industry rules and regulations Have their own set of tools Creative and efficient problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to varying situations. Be self-motivated and proactive in taking on any task that may arise Cooperative attitude, team player Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Monday -Friday 8 am - 5 pm
