Position Overview In this replacement position, you will be reporting to the Director of Sales and will be responsible for selling excess capacity within the plants and maximizing Dare profitability. Focus will be on Private Label and Custom Product development and management for other organizations within North America. The role is hybrid. Presence required at head office, manufacturing facilities, and travel for customer visits, trade shows, and events. The balance of time will be from your home office. Responsibilities Achieve/exceed annual growth targets. Work closely with internal cross functional teams (Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, Marketing and Technical) to support and enable delivery of customer and corporate business objectives. Customer management of Private Label, Industrial, and Custom Products customers. Create winning partnerships with customers: Develop/Execute customer growth strategies and plans. Monitor the external contract packaging industry with the goal of fully understanding any changes or opportunities in the market. Customer Contract Execution via customer consultation, RFP responses, and pricing recommendations. Fully responsible for customer relationships including managing their systems such as POS or financial management tools. Partner with manufacturing facilities by attending plant tours and industry events. Contribute to and coordinate new products with internal departments and external customers. Proactively identify potential start up issues and develop solutions to mitigate with cross functional partners & financial management. Forecasting/Order management. Annual business and budget planning. Effectively manage spend budgets. (trade, travel, business development funds). Qualifications Bachelors degree in business, finance or other related discipline 5+ years sales and/or customer management, preference will be given to those with experience in the Consumer-Packaged Goods industry and/or contract manufacturing. Strong business and financial acumen. Outstanding organizational and analytical abilities Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills. Effectively able to work independently and as part of a high-performance team. Results oriented with a strong sense of urgency. This position will require you to travel throughout Canada and USA Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), SAP, Cognos, IBP. Valid Drivers License.
