Talent and Business Operations Manager, Stores Job ID: 279732 Store Name/Number: NS-Halifax Shopping Centre (0556) Address: 7001 Mumford Road, Halifax, NS B3L 4N9, Canada Full Time/Part Time: Full Time Position Type: Regular Vacancy Status: This position is for an existing, open vacancy As Talent and Business Operations Manager, Stores, you will be responsible for managing the People and Operations aspects of a specific Sephora store location. You will regularly support in areas such as staffing/zoning of the store, beauty advisor training and education, onboarding of new advisors, store scheduling and overall execution of Sephora operation standards within the store. Talent Champion Conduct final interviews for all key positions and source, select and hire candidates using the online applicant tracking system. Training & Development Manage all training-related functions within the store and execute the stores ongoing training strategy with Store Director and Education partners. Performance Assessment & Development Write and deliver annual performance reviews for direct reports, oversee the performance management process for the entire store and provide timely feedback for improvement. Operational Excellence Lead the stores operations, ensure execution of all operations-focused processes, manage inventory, cycle counting and complete all processes per company guidelines and timeframes. Entrepreneurial Spirit Demonstrate a strong understanding of the stores sales performance, staffing, payroll and all other controllable expenses. Skills and Qualifications Two to four years experience in a similar role at a high-volume store or equivalent internal experience. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to influence business partners at all levels in a clear and concise manner. Proven ability to create teams by attracting and identifying talented store leaders who can train and develop cast to drive sales and deliver outstanding client service. Physical Requirements Work in a fragrance-filled environment. Lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Bend and stretch to stock shelves. The compensation ranges between CAD$54,800.00 - CAD$68,500.00.
