We are currently seeking qualified applicants for the position of Team Member Chop Line. The position will be stationed at our 900Intermodal Drive location in Brampton, ON. This role is responsible for inspecting, grading, sorting and processing nonferrous scrap metals to achieve operational goals and objectives. Additional responsibilities include control and care of the industrial forklift and skidsteer equipment used for shipping, receiving and production purposes. Inspect material quality after it passes through the chop line and remove nonconforming materials. Monitor and adjust Chop Line Colour Sorter PLC parameters, including material flow, temperature control, air flow and vibration control. Perform general mechanical adjustments, blade prep and changes in ATS and BDR, blade checks, and screen changes. Visually inspect product quality from Hamos and report findings to the Shift Supervisor. Operate counterbalance forklift and/or skidsteer in accordance with operation policies and procedures, ensuring efficient material movement. Perform general housekeeping functions.
