Overview Source Office Furniture is seeking an Account Executive at our Kitchener, ON location. This is a full-time, permanent position and is Hybrid. This role is responsible for managing the full sales cyclefrom prospecting and qualifying leads to closing deals and nurturing client relationships. The sales region includes Kitchener-Waterloo, including Guelph and Cambridge. This role also supports the showroom when necessary, by meeting with customers, determining their needs through a consultative approach, and proposing the appropriate solution. Compensation and Benefits Competitive salary + Commission (Total target compensation $50,000-$100,000+) Earnings guarantee for first year Car Allowance and Cell Phone Allowance Fun and positive work environment Opportunity for professional growth 100% paid health and dental benefits plan premiums after a successful 3-month probation, including a $250 Health Spending Account Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Employee discounts on our products Main Responsibilities Selling and Prospecting Sell the entire range of Source products with new and existing customers by scheduling appointments and meetings to discuss options through a consultative approach Ability to work with Canadian manufacturers Develop a database of qualified leads through referrals, telephone canvassing, face to face cold calling, direct mail, email and networking Conduct product demos and presentations tailored to the prospects needs Create and present a proposed layout of the customers space reflecting product based on specific measurements Provide product quotes as required Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets Support Provide support to the in-store team when not prospecting or when asked by the manager Keep up to date on new products, services, procedures and tools Administrative Duties Complete all work orders, invoices, quotes and all other necessary paperwork related to each sale Complete any other tasks as instructed by the GTA Sales Manager Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of experience in a B2B sales or account executive role Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales quotas Strong understanding of consultative selling and solution-based approaches Exceptional verbal and written communication skills Ability to build rapport with a wide range of customers with open communication Strong MS Office skills (Word, Outlook, Excel) High School diploma required, post-secondary degree is an asset Must have access to a reliable vehicle, a valid drivers license and business auto insurance Legally authorized to work in Canada Preferred Qualifications Industry experience in Office Furnishings with a proven track record Shift Schedule Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm.
