Position Summary Responsible for handling client related inquires problems and complaints concerning any area of the company and ensuring timely resolution with departments involved. New one time account set ups. Provides effective and efficient administrative support to CP Manager and other CP department members. Proactively conducts research on clients through a variety of methods including reviewing account information and statistics, conducting surveys and performing online searches in order to identify areas for improvement, address unreported concerns and identify opportunities for cross-selling our services. Occasionally accompanies Business Development representatives on sales calls Responds to client inquiries regarding issues, problems or complaints. Researches issues by contracting involved parties, running any necessary reports and / or conducing client meetings at our premises. Communicates with all parties in a timely fashion in order to coordinate a satisfactory resolution to the issue Enters and updates client information and logs visit reports into SalesForce.com Completes a variety of clerical functions including responding to general correspondence, answering the telephone, filing, etc. Responds to inquiries from potential one-time accounts. Arranges for collection of funds and preparation of entry document. Enters one-time account information into the system Education and Experience H igh school education 2 years previous experience in the customs or logistics fields Certified Customs Specialist (CCS) designation an asset Sound problem solving skills Working under time sensitive and stressful situations Computer skills required include Word, Excel, and Power Point Must be able to multi task and prioritize assignments Strong concentration ability for preparing reports Strong oral and written communication skills with solid knowledge of the brokerage and transportation industry Working Conditions, Mental Effort & Physical Requirements Ability to sit for extended periods of time while entering data and focusing on computer monitor Must be able to deal with frustrating situations, time pressures and frequent interruptions in a timely and appropriate manner Ability to concentrate and have accuracy when communicating with clients, entering data, preparing reports, etc. Farrow is an equal opportunity employer, committed to diversity and inclusion.
