Adult Bollywood Dance Fitness Instructor On Call-Seasonal Fusion Cardio Toronto is looking for a caring, safe, and highly skilled and exciting on-call instructor to support their seasonal Adult Bollywood Fitness programs. The instructor must be able to commute on time to the Bloor West High Park area on Thursdays at 8 PM and Fridays at 7:30 PM. Before submitting an application, this on-call seasonal opportunity DOES NOT indicate any employment or partnership. A flat honorarium is issued, which is discussed below. Instructor Responsibilities To instruct a 50minute fun, safe, and effective class for all levels and abilities with confidence in person. Has coached women over ages 50+ effectively and safely. Understands the components of a dance fitness class (warmup, a cardio component, muscleconditioning/strength training, dance learning, a cooldown). Must have Classical Indian Dance, Bollywood or Indian folk dance experience. Can cue effectively using a range of indications (visual, hands, verbal). Shows up 10 minutes before class to set up and greet participants, ends on time to pack up, arrange the room, and greet participants off before other classes. The Instructor Must Have A minimum of 3 years of experience teaching Bollywood Fitness/dance fitness. Must have Classical Indian Dance, Bollywood or Indian folk dance experience. Is a current Fitness Instructor Specialist, Personal Trainer, Movement/Fitness Coach, Exercise Specialist, Health and Fitness Promoter, Kinesiologist OR equivalent through a Canadian or North American governing body. Must have a valid CPR Level C/A and AED training. Must have personal liability insurance. A portable speaker in case of emergency. Must speak, read, and understand English well. Bonus: Has onlineZoom teaching experience (we run several online programs). There are 3 parts to the interview process.
