Great Bear Project: In March 2022, Kinross acquired Great Bear Resources and its flagship Great Bear project (GBR), located near Red Lake, Ontario. The Great Bear property is a greenfield, large-scale deposit with potential for significant open pit and underground operations. In 2025, the project moved into the detailed engineering and major equipment procurement phase. Role Summary Reporting to the VP & Project Director, the Project Administrator provides coordination, logistical, and administrative services to support the Toronto GBR Project office of approximately 25 people. This role will oversee the project office and support facilities coordination, ensuring the project teams work environment is organized, functional, and compliant with corporate standards. The incumbent works with moderate autonomy, applying strong organizational skills, judgment, and attention to detail to support project execution and day-to-day office operations. Responsibilities Project Coordination & Support Coordinate day-to-day project administrative activities, timelines, and deliverables. Support project meeting preparation and communication, including agendas, decks, materials, logistics, minutes, etc. Assist with project documentation, schedules, reporting inputs, dashboards, and workflow tracking. Maintain action logs, risk/issue trackers, and follow-ups with project stakeholders. Liaise with IT to ensure Outlook distribution lists are up to date. Oversight of team calendars related to travel. Support the senior project team members with expense reviews and other day-to-day administrative support. Coordinate meetings, workshops, and reviews for internal and external stakeholders as directed by the project team. Draft internal communications and assist with maintaining stakeholder distribution lists. Assist with arranging travel, accommodations, onboarding logistics, and site access requirements for Toronto staff. Other duties as assigned. Office Management & Facilities Coordination Act as the point of contact for office administration within the project office. Coordinate workspace assignments, meeting room reservations, and general office organization. Oversee and maintain inventory of office supplies, equipment, and consumables. Support onboarding of new team members and contractors (desk setup, access cards, equipment requests). Liaise and coordinate with building management, security, IT, facilities teams and maintenance service providers regarding deliveries, maintenance, repairs, cleaning, and safety concerns. Maintain facility-related documentation (logs, checklists, access records). Support compliance with office safety standards, emergency procedures, and corporate HSE requirements. Assist in coordinating ergonomic assessments, safety orientations, and workspace inspections. Skills Basic knowledge of procedures and practices. Thorough operational knowledge of office equipment and machines (i.e., phone / facsimile, copier, printer, postage scale and meter and computer programs including Word and Excel). Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing, and possess basic math skills. Working knowledge of grammar, punctuation, spelling and style. Completed at least 24 hours of new miner MSHA training. Education and Experience Education Diploma or degree in Business Administration, Office Administration, Project Management, Facilities Management, or a related field. Experience 10 years or more administrative experience, office management, or facilities coordination. Experience in the mining industry and/or large capital projects would be an asset. Compensation & Total Rewards The base salary range for this role is $55,000 to $68,000 CAD + a discretionary bonus and group benefits. The hiring range reflects our targeted compensation framework for the role.
