Provide an encouraging and uplifting message to staff, students, and families in alignment with the WCDSB Pastoral Plan. Foster equity for all students and staff in alignment with the Equity Action Plan. Value diversity and contribute to an inclusive working environment. Utilize innovation to improve student engagement and achievement. Minimum Requirements Current Certificate of Qualification with the Ontario College of Teachers (in good standing). Completion of Part 1 of the Ontario Principals Qualification Program (PQP) and completion of Part 2 of the PQP, or commitment to complete Part 2 by June 20, 2026. Hold a Religious Education Certificate, Part I, or a Letter of Equivalency from OECTA Provincial/OCSTA. Five years of teaching experience. Development of a professional portfolio tied to the Catholic School Level Leadership Framework that demonstrates a transformation of lifelong learning experience(s) to teaching and learning practices. Desirable Assets A Masters degree. Evidence of a clear understanding of the purpose and nature of leadership experiences in a Catholic School and in a variety of other settings. Teacher Performance Appraisal (TPA) completed within the past three years; if not, a letter of support from the principal mentor will be accepted.
