Assists the MBAN Program Coordinator with admissions and enrolment by monitoring email and replying to prospective students with information on the program and the admission process; maintains lists of inquiries, prospective students and registrants for information sessions; calculates admission and tallies demographics as needed; scholarship reporting, and coordinates production of promotional materials and information packages. Provide information management support by ensuring mailing lists of students and alumni, and information session lists are current; maintaining databases; and monitors MBAN web pages and communicating needed updates to Program Coordinator. Guide and support students on matters related to University policy, Academic Regulations, registrations, student onboarding, internship support, graduation, processes and procedures Perform other related duties as assigned related to expense claims, leaves, etc.; and refers students to campus services (PGWP, Mental Health Support, Student Success, etc.) or FGSR as required. Provide administrative support to the MBAN Program Council, including scheduling meetings, minute-taking and action-item tracking for follow-up, document management, etc. Maintain office supply inventory and ensure timely payment of invoices. Provide support to complete academic processes with the Registrar''s office and payroll forms for the Academic Program Coordinator. Provide support to the MBAN Program Coordinator with the management of student files from accepted to registered. Provide support to the Associate Dean including calendar and scheduling support, expense claims, travel support and communications. Set up and maintain electronic and paper documents including spreadsheets; distributes as appropriate for various initiatives. Prepare cheque requisitions, purchase requisitions, payment requests, budget transfer requests, and other financial documents as required and in a timely manner; ensure proper approvals are received and follows appropriate procedures for the value of goods. Assist the Graduate Program Administrator in organizing and coordinating the High-school Co-Op event. Collect employment outcome data (salary ranges, employment rate, employer list) Assist with the organization of program-related events such as DataJam Workshop Series & Hackathon Performs other related duties as assigned Qualifications High school graduation plus completion of a one-year commercial course Minimum one year directly-related work experience Experience in an academic setting considered an asset Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite Experience with databases and payment processing Professional judgement and discretion Excellent oral and written communication skills Effective customer service and interpersonal skills Strong analytical skills Must be able to work independently to manage workload which includes accurately completing multi-step processes while responding to other requests/activities as they arise Application Details Apply for this opportunity online using our online application system through Career Beacon.
