Job Description Are you a motivated and reliable owneroperator with a tandemaxle tractor looking for a consistent local opportunity? We are looking to hire a Class1 Owner Operator for City Pickup & Delivery who knows Red Deer and the area. This is an excellent opportunity to partner with a stable and expanding organization where your hard work and commitment are recognized and rewarded. Responsibilities Responsible for the pickup and delivery of freight within the Red Deer service area, while adhering to company policies and procedures Efficiently and safely picking up and delivering LTL freight Must prioritize all shipments to make alltime critical commitments and Rock Solid deliveries Working as a team with the dispatcher and dock personnel to ensure all freight is delivered on time Responsible for loading/unloading your own truck Roughly 10 hours a day, 5 days a week. Some flexibility is required to meet customer requirements. Incentivebased pay environment with big payday potential for the right person. Must have a truck available every day for work assignments Maintaining a strong focus on providing excellent customer service Qualifications Class1 license (clean abstract) A tandem axle tractor Must own Newer Equipment 2017 or newer Must have WSIB Coverage 1 year of LTL experience Physically Fit Reliable and dependable TDG, WHMIS, and Forklift experience is an asset, and is willing to be trained Must be able to provide a criminal record check, drivers abstract, and 2 workrelated supervisory references.
