Position Summary The IELTS Technician & IAM Officer is responsible for preparing, maintaining, and supporting International English Language Language Testing System (IELTS) technologies for computer delivery and identity authentication management (IAM). Responsibilities Technical maintenance Correspond with IDP Education (IDP Australia) and Cambridge English support teams on IELTS system updates and changes Monitor computer health status through Inspera to ensure smooth test operations Validate test sitting details following data imports from IELTS Web Administrative System (IWAS), Inspera and IAM systems Assist with Inspera access and authentication Manage Video Call Speaking (VCS) forms, Zoom cloud platforms and Secure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP) systems and download speaking interviews to SharePoint Monitor and archive closed circuit television (CCTV) camera footage at Computer Delivered (CD) lab venues for audit and compliance purposes Provide support and training for IELTS Examiners and test day staff Responsibilities IAM equipment Prepare laptops and IAM kits with venue-specific data, verifying equipment and supplies Manages IAM data transfers, including photo uploads and secure storage Load test day information to college systems Review and edit test taker photos for compliance Manage IAM inventory and maintain equipment Create and maintain documentation for test day staff Responsibilities Test day Ensure all workstations are operational before test day and validate test sitting details Verify that test content has been downloaded Ensure IAM systems at off-site venues have correct candidate data Assist staff in resolving technical problems Responsibilities Computer Delivered IELTS venues Set up new computer labs, install Inspera on computers, and prepare workstations according to the International Development Program (IDP) CD IELTS requirements Perform remote computer verification and network connectivity Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues; implement solutions and procedural documentation; report major technical issues to Cambridge English Responsibilities Website and social media Collaborate with Web Services to update the website Monitor to update testing locations, test dates, website design and make administrative changes Update Google Business Profile, including Google ads Responsibilities CELPIP and Other Testing Support Support the Paragon Canadian English Language Proficiency Index Program (CELPIP) Configure and test equipment, including scanner, camera, signature pad, and headsets Qualifications Two-year diploma in Information Technology or a related field is required Minimum three years of experience with logistics, identity management, computer security, hardware and software support, and working with databases Highest degree of accuracy and attention to detail; excellent organizational and time management skills and the ability to complete tasks with frequent interruptions Good judgement, problem-solving and decision-making skills Self-directed and able to work independently with minimal supervision in a high-stress, deadline-driven environment Strong technical and computer literacy skills Adhere to the highest standards of security and confidentiality Access to reliable transportation and ability to travel to testing venues across Ontario #J-18808-Ljbffr
