Job Title

Reporting to the Quality Manager, the QC Lab Technician is responsible for performing testing while maintaining a safe working environment by complying with all safety guidelines. Responsibilities Primary duties include testing & sample collection in the field at various jobsites within Toronto and the GTA (a company vehicle is provided for travel between sites). Participate in activities related to the quality system, and other duties as assigned. Qualifications Experience in the civil industry or in a laboratory environment is an asset. Strong commitment to Health and Safety. The ability to lift at least 50lbs on a regular basis is required. Comfortable working outdoors. Ability to work with minimal supervision and manage and prioritize workload. Must have excellent attention to detail. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Must be available to work flexible & long shifts. Must have a valid Ontario G-class Drivers License with an acceptable drivers abstract. Location Inperson at our Scarborough location (70 Passmore Avenue, Toronto, ON) Seasonality Our season is operational from April to December. During the winter months, snow removal positions are available. Compensation Starting at $23.00/hour, overtime after 50 hours per week.
