The role We have an exciting opportunity to join our Service team in Hamilton to support our Workshop for the North Island PDI Centre. Through effective planning, coordination and scheduling, youll perform an integral part in ensuring that we meet delivery expectations of all new Lift Trucks. Reporting to the Workshop Manager, you will join our knowledgeable and experienced service team and be supported by great training and shared expertise across the business. The core responsibility of your role will be to collaborate with the Workshop Manager and all key stakeholders to ensure that work is efficiently scheduled and the production plan monitored and maintained to meet our customer needs. Youll monitor the workshop service core production on a daily basis to ensure we are meeting assigned delivery targets and budgets and through data collection, analysis and tracking youll support and drive all planning activities in line with workshop resources and agreed timelines and customer delivery schedules. Parts inventory management is a key task for this role, as your efficiency in this area is critical to ensuring that productivity is maintained and any gaps are foreseen. Working alongside the Workshop technicians, youll ensure that suitable resources are planned and in stock at the right times, to meet the schedule for the month and rolling quarter. With great service to our customers being one of the three pillars of our business, you will support the team as they place customer needs at the forefront of everything they do. This is a fulltime, permanent role, based at our PDI Centre in TeRapa, Hamilton. About you To shine in this role, youll bring your positive, customercentric and solutionsfocused attitude and strong attentiontodetail and communication skills. Your background in workshop production, coordination or scheduling, and parts inventory management, together with your demonstrable organisational skills and IT savvy (MSExcel, in particular) will be essential to your success. Whilst experience in the automotive or manufacturing sectors would be advantageous, its not absolutely essential, as were looking for someone who is an agile learner. Youll be a collaborative and supportive team player and have great customer service/relationship skills when it comes to dealing with your internal and external stakeholders. A current Class1 drivers license is required. A forklift experience/license is preferred, however not essential as we can provide training.
