Overview Ongoing Accessible Assessments is an emerging Alberta-based non-profit focused on addressing the rising cost and inaccessibility of psychological and psychoeducational assessments. Many individuals and families are currently priced out of assessments that are required for education, employment, benefits, and basic diagnostic clarity. This organization is being developed to explore ethical, lower-cost, and more efficient ways to provide these services without compromising clinical standards.We are at an early, exploratory stage and are inviting expressions of interest from individuals who may be open to contributing to initial conversations and idea development. This is not yet a formal board appointment; rather, it is an opportunity to help shape the direction of the organization as it takes form. Who May Be a Good Fit Registered psychology or assessment-related practice Non-profit leadership, governance, or board service Health, education, social services, or public systems Financial, legal, or organizational development expertise Prior board experience is helpful but not required. A thoughtful, ethical, and collaborative approach is most important. Time Commitment Low and flexible at this stage-Occasional meetings or conversations (virtual)-No formal obligations at this time About the Role This is a volunteer role during the exploratory phase.
