We are seeking a project management professional with skills in estimating who is well organized and has the business acumen to ensure projects are running smoothly and within cost parameters. Create timelines and track construction project schedules to ensure teams are being utilized most effectively. Visit worksites to build relationships with team members, monitor progress, and maintain communication with client, crews, vendors, and subcontractors related to the project. Assist in preparation of pre-construction and construction services proposals to maximize efficiencies and profit. Follow the company cost monitoring and reporting systems and procedures. Participate and lead in both internal and external meetings, to support co-divisions and inspire the best allocation of resources and efforts. Communicate regularly with consultants and subcontractors to build strong relationships. Research and analyze cost data for review and presentation. Build accurate estimates and quotes. Skills and experience that we value in this role are: Civil Engineering or Construction Management diploma is an asset Valid drivers license 5+ years proven experience within the drainage industry, civil construction industry, sewer and watermain or related field Computer skills and software experience including Microsoft Office Applications. Experience with Bid2Win, Heavy Bid, or Maestro is an asset. Excellent organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines. Excellent analytical skills and attention to details. Knowledge of MTO book 7 Traffic Control Requirements. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. Work Demands Travel: Ability to travel within Southwestern Ontario as required to visit jobsites, meet, and network with clients and attend industry events.
