What Youll Do Reporting to the Manager of Research and Innovation, this roles primary function will be overseeing the scientific support of our product lifecycle management processes to support Jamieson corporate goals and objectives. Strong communication skills will be employed through liaising with marketing, quality, regulatory, R&D, and finance personnel to identify optimal product development pathways and feasibility. Heres what you can expect in your role: Conduct consumer-focused idea generation to support new product development and scientific product lifecycle management relating to set business goals. Initiate and execute the scientific review of new ingredient innovations Follow potential products through the development phases, including ideation, scoping, development, and execution. Ensure the scientific needs and requirements of each department are satisfied as they relate to developing and supporting new product launches Provide scientific and technical direction to marketing for claim development and substantiation Liaise with third party manufacturers as needed for all steps of the product launch process Maintain knowledge of changing scientific environments primarily in Canada, but also globally, as they related to our products Support research elements of quality functions such as - Specification review Product Complaints CAPAs Change Control Process Provide guidance and mentorship to direct reports What You Bring Youre a mix of curious, collaborative, and purpose-driven and ready to grow in a team that lives its values. Your experience and perspective might include: Bachelor of Science in Life Sciences, Nutrition, Biomedical Sciences or related 2 5 years of experience in the natural health product industry Research minded with critical thinking skills Working knowledge of MS Office, significant experience with literature search engines Excellent technical writing skills and good grammar and punctuation Exemplary communication, bilingual (English/French) desirable Able to work, learn and think accurately in a fast paced, dynamic, multitasking environment and networking skills Note: If you dont meet every requirement listed here, we still encourage you to apply. Compensation Jamieson Wellness Inc. offers a competitive total rewards package that goes beyond base pay, including eligibility for our Short-Term Incentive Program and a variety of benefits to support your well-being and professional growth. For this role, the posting range is $53,690 - $92,040, which reflects the full salary range of the position. The actual salary offered will be determined based on factors such as relevant experience, level of education, and other professional qualifications aligned with the requirements and complexity of this position.
