Further information is available at POSITION SUMMARY The Senior Application Programmer Analyst will play a key role in building and supporting internal and external facing application, working alongside experienced developers and business resources to create enterprise systems that drive business success. WHAT YOU WILL DO: Ensure customer satisfaction Lead development efforts on major application platforms Interact with the business to understand and document requirements Design, develop and test new software solutions satisfying requirements in alignment with standards and the software development lifecycle Work with the extended development team to ensure changes are properly documented, communicated, audited and deployed in compliance with established procedures Root cause and resolve production problems in support of KPIs Mentor team members on technologies, practices and standards in areas of expertise Promote and assist in the creation of standards and processes Research and coordinate the conversion and/or integration of new products based on business requirements Assist in the evaluation and recommendation of application software packages, application integration and testing tools WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL: Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science or a related field years of relevant professional experience Positive, collaborative team player with a professional attitude Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while effectively prioritizing tasks Experience with SQL performance tuning and developing software solutions using Oracle Developer Suite, Java, .NET, and web technologies. Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux Solid understanding of RDBMS platforms and a knowledge of web services and system integration using SOAP and REST OUR WHY: We exist to move people.
