Job Title: Lead Receiver/Shipper Department: Goods-In Terms of employment: Full-Time, Hourly Reports to: Distribution Manager Starting Rate: $25.25/hour Location: Etobicoke, ON Submit Applications by: 12:00pm EST on Wednesday, February 4th, 2026 The Role: Lead Receiver/Shipper Availability: Full-time with an ability to work mornings or afternoons and occasional overtime, holidays, and weekends. Reporting to the Department Manager, the Lead Receiver/Shipper is responsible for organizing work-flow and materials as well as providing leadership, and support to a team with the purpose of achieving the goals of the Distro department. They must demonstrate leadership ability and collaborate with room management to ensure the room requirements are met. What You Do (Responsibilities): Ensure safe working practices are being followed, remedy unsafe situations and address any areas of concern to Room Management when they arise. Responsible for the verification of purchase order paperwork and receiving of all delivered goods in AX the same day they are delivered. Ensure all incoming materials are being stocked in the appropriate locations and labeled when necessary Adhere to company and departmental policies and best practices for quality, health and safety and hygiene, GMP & MoCRA Guidelines Communicating with drivers to ensure all orders are delivered to production rooms & buildings within designated service level agreements Operates site specific MHE as required, in a safe manner. Ensuring the receiving area, outside docks, and racking areas are organized and clean Flexibility to work at other Lush Distribution locations as needed Providing & documenting basic feedback on performance concerns and training on best practices to new and returning staff members, while ensuring safety and SOP guidelines are being followed Work collaboratively with other departments and areas of the business, as well as independently with self-led initiatives Communicate with procurement, finance, freight & logistics teams as required Coordinating rail and road transfers as required Coordinating export shipments to global business counterparts or outside business entities Shipping Documentation: Prepare, review, and verify Packing Slips, Commercial Invoices, and Export Declarations to ensure accuracy and compliance. Compliance & Regulatory: Maintain adherence to export regulations and internal standards; identify, label, and code hazardous goods following TDG, IMDG, IATA regulations Collaborate with carriers to manage timely pickup and delivery; assist in preparation of Bills of Lading and Air Waybills. Communication & Issue Resolution: Coordinate with internal teams to confirm orders and shipping timelines; proactively resolve discrepancies and delays. Flexible to support different job responsibilities outlined above as needed and remain adaptable Performing Distribution Associates duties as needed and required Perform general physical activities, including but not limited to; loading, unloading, sorting and the moving of products and materials Who You Are (Qualifications): Required: Current Lush employee Valid site specific MHE certification Flexible to work shift work, weekends, holidays, and occasional overtime Confident with basic mathematics, ability to count, including addition and subtraction Able to do physical work for 8-hour shifts, and lift 50 pounds Accustomed to working in a highly seasonal, high pressure environment Capable of physical activities such as standing or sitting for long durations, bending down, pulling and pushing Proficient in Google Suite applications and willing to learn any new systems/software that''s implemented Demonstrated proficiency in AX (ERP) such as shipping or receiving PO''s and Transfer Orders Proven success identifying, prioritizing, and completing tasks Maintain a positive attitude and engaged in your work Excellent interpersonal, organizational and time management skills Open and adaptable to feedback on performance Reliable, consistent attendance, punctual and dependable Competency in English: reading, writing and speaking Time management skills Preferred: Experience working in Goods-In, Distribution or Logistics, or Manufacturing Experience working as a Seasonal Lead Receiver or Forklift Operator Previous Leadership experience Familiar with Employment Standards and Occupational Health and Safety legislation Ability to operate a Forklift safely and efficiently, with valid certification Understanding of the transportation of dangerous goods (ground, ocean and air), or is willing to participate in the necessary training to be certified Customs Documentation & Compliance Training How to Apply:Submit application form for reviewal on the Colleague Center Questions?
