Position Summary Tacten is seeking professional, energetic, and forward-thinking JP Pipefitters with IRATA (Rope Access) certification to support our client site at CNRL Albian in Fort McMurray, AB. If so, apply today Position Details Employment Type: Temporary Full-Time Project Work / Shutdowns Site: CNRL Albian Rotation: 6/1 at 12hrs./day Start date: February 20, 2026 Flights: Provided from Alberta hubs (Edmonton or Calgary only) Responsibilities Installation and Assembly: Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and isometric drawings. Assemble and install piping systems and related equipment following specifications. Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes using various tools and equipment. Install supports, valves, and other control equipment. Maintenance and Repair: Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair piping systems. Perform regular maintenance to ensure system integrity and performance. Replace defective or worn components as necessary. Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment. Ensure work is performed in compliance with relevant building codes, standards, and regulations. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Collaboration and Communication: Work collaboratively with other trades, contractors, and team members. Communicate effectively with supervisors and project managers regarding project status and any issues encountered. Provide guidance and mentorship to apprentices and less experienced pipefitters. Requirements Position Requirements Journeyman Pipefitting Certification Required IRATA Level 1 required, or willingness to obtain.
