Production Operator I Duties/Responsibilities Production, including labelling, producing, packaging and storing of super sacs in compliance with work instruction and production schedule. Collecting samples of goods produced as outline on the product specification. Documentation of activities and some calculations required. Performing and documenting feeder calibrations as outlined on the work instruction and calibration schedule. Some calculations required. Staging picking/verifying orders for shipping. Loading trucks in compliance with work instruction and customer requirements. Receiving bulk materials including verifying material and determining designated silo. Operating and monitoring receiving system; documenting activities. Performing visual inspection of material and collecting samples. Performing and documenting routine and preventative maintenance in accordance with the PM schedule. Monitoring equipment function and reporting malfunction/issues to Operations Manager. General shop duties including warehouse and lot upkeep and cleaning, workstation cleaning. Required Skills/Abilities Verbal and written communication skills a must. WHMIS Training, violence & harassment training, fall arrest training, and forklift training will all be provided but previous experience an asset.
