Scope of Position: Responsible for executing the planned activities within the Quality department to ensure timely and accurate completion of necessary tasks. Key Responsibilities: Work closely with the quality, process engineering, and production departments to support program launches and current production activities. Assist in the physical inspection, testing, labeling and packing of prototype parts. Assist in the physical inspection and testing of production parts. Assist in checking parts on stamping, weld and final check fixtures including preparing data obtained for reports. Assist on assembly lines as needed for both regular production and launch builds. Assist Quality Engineers in GM EPC & Ford FIREWALL (Early Production Containment). Assist Quality Engineers in customer concern sort and containment activities. Complete test data entry and charting as required. Work with Quality Engineers to create and update control plans for review and approval. Basic Requirements: Must be enrolled in an engineering program. Must be detail oriented. Must be self-motivated with a strong willingness to learn. Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications. Must have a valid driver''s license. Proficient written and verbal communication skills This job posting is for an existing vacancy.
