Position Title: Millwright Department: Maintenance Location: Nobleford, AB About AGI AGI is a global food-based infrastructure company publicly traded in Canada. The Opportunity Responsible for fabricating custom machinery and tooling, maintaining and repairing a variety of equipment and components, and assisting in manufacturing improvement projects. The main areas of focus include meeting production requirements, health & safety and quality control. Responsibilities: Fabricating and testing custom machinery and tooling to improve production or to facilitate new product releases Assembling, installing, and testing machines to make sure they are working correctly Assist with the layout and placement of equipment and machinery in factory settings to ensure minimum downtime Supporting our maintenance department in identifying and repairing problematic parts of a machine by running tests, making temporary repairs, or installing new parts Using machinery or equipment, such as forklifts, to move mechanical parts Must work in full compliance with the approved safety regulations Follow AGI''s Code of Business Ethics and related compliance policies Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned Qualifications: Red Seal Millwright certification considered an asset Ability to be a team player due to constant interactions with similar employees and stakeholders such as engineers, managers, and part vendors, amongst others Working knowledge of mechanical technical skills to allow them to effectively read documents such as specifications, machine manuals, and blueprints Able to work independently, with minimal supervision, while part of a team Able to lift to 50lbs Why AGI?
