Job Description FLINT is seeking HSE Advisors - Day shift for a project-based role in Empress, Alberta starting late June 2026 through October 2026. The scope includes heavy rigging mechanical and piping work, critical lifts, and pre-planning, with primarily bolt-up piping and limited onsite welding. This position follows a 12 & 2 rotation with 10-hour daysand offers a $165/day LOA. What would you be doing? Promote a strong Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) culture among employees and subcontractors, ensuring all activities align with company core values and safety standards. Monitoring critical lifts (80,000100,000 lbs) to ensure safe execution and adherence to lifting procedures. Supporting pre-planning activities to identify potential hazards and implement mitigation measures. Advising project teams on HSE best practices for bolt-up piping, limited CWB welding, and hydro shop work. Reviewing and enforcing compliance with company and regulatory safety policies. Participating in toolbox talks, safety meetings, and incident investigations if required. Monitor and report safety performance, maintain accurate statistics, and work with managers to address corrective actions and subcontractor compliance. Advise and train management and workers on health and safety legislation, best practices, and continuous improvement initiatives. Strong understanding of safe work practices, lift planning, and field execution in industrial environments. Strong communication and teamwork skills with the ability to work in fast-paced, project-driven settings. Additional Information This position has been identified as a safety sensitive position and will require completion of drug and alcohol testing.
