Meridian Chiropractic + Health Centre in Selkirk is looking to hire a bubbly, highly-motivated welcoming individuation to the role of Medical Administrative Assistant Meridian is a friendly, team-focused environment, who supports their employees. If you have the skills and abilities, and the desire to learn, we need you Responsibilities: Welcome patients in friendly manner Schedule appointments, taking payments, and maintaining records and accounts. Keep office on schedule and maintain operations by following policies and procedures Accurately input data and file charts Obtain revenue by recording and updating financial information, recording and collecting patient charges, and entering payments. Daily cleaning and laundry duties Has a keen interest in contributing to the team and our community. Medical Receptionist Skills / Qualifications: Multi-tasking, especially in a high-stress environment Flexible Initiative and independent worker Fast learner and self learner Excellent telephone and communication skills in English Cash management Time management & organization Attention to detail and quality service Scheduling & Billing Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office, email, EMR a plus Professionalism & Cleanliness Receptionist experience is an asset and will be compensated accordingly Microsoft Word & Patient Booking Software is an asset. Our part-time medical receptionist will be working 20-25 hours per week with an opportunity to increase as the business grows.
