Overview We are seeking a skilled and dynamic Sous Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, extensive kitchen experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional food and service. As a key member of our restaurant management team, the Sous Chef will assist in overseeing daily kitchen operations, ensuring food quality, safety, and efficiency. Responsibilities Assist the Head Chef in managing daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating. Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high standards of food quality and safety. Oversee food handling procedures to maintain compliance with health regulations and safety standards. Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless serving of dishes and timely delivery to guests. Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and ensure proper storage of ingredients. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area in accordance with sanitation standards. Support menu development and contribute creative ideas for new dishes. Lead by example in demonstrating professionalism, teamwork, and leadership within the kitchen environment. Requirements Proven supervising experience in a restaurant or food service setting. Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management. Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper handling procedures. Excellent team management skills with the ability to lead and motivate staff. Previous restaurant experience with a focus on hospitality excellence. Demonstrated leadership qualities with a proactive approach to problem-solving. Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy service hours. Passion for culinary arts and commitment to delivering outstanding guest experiences. Flexibility to work various shifts as needed within the restaurant''s operating hours.
