Job Summary We are seeking skilled Operators to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Ideal candidates will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in various manufacturing processes, including safely setting up and operating machines, performing quality checks, entering production data, and minor trouble shooting activities. This role is essential for ensuring the efficient operation of machinery and maintaining high-quality standards throughout the production process. Responsibilities Safety Follow all company policies and procedures and utilize Personal Protective Equipment, as required by tasks. Participate in all safety programs, and understand and follow all requirements of job safety analysis / risk predictions. Report all safety incidents, injuries, and/or near-misses to the Team Leader or Production Leader immediately, and participate in incident investigation, when applicable. Quality Operators are responsible for monitoring quality on line, performing quality checks, and entering data into quality systems accurately and in the required time-frame. Inform Lead Operators immediately if out of control/spec conditions as indicated by quality systems, according to quality procedures. Adhere to Non-conforming Procedure, when required. Operations Responsible for operating dispensing equipment, including loading, starting, stopping, resetting machines, and providing line supplies, when required. Notify Lead Operator of any machine breakdown or malfunction for recording purposes. Maintain all packaging equipment as required, including C.I.L tasks, operator PM, etc... Responsible for minor troubleshooting (i.e. clearing jams, cleaning glue build-up, etc. Enter work orders on the maintenance system, book out parts (inventory control) as required. Perform roll changes, when necessary. Assist Lead Operator with changeovers and general duties. Operate Material Handling equipment when required. Maintain 5S Standards, and complete daily housekeeping standards by shift end Conduct effective shift handover Participate in improvement activity, such as Kaizens, IM''s, Zec events, AM activity, etc Qualifications Proven experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively. Experience in packaging operations is a plus. Prior warehouse experience is beneficial for understanding logistics within the production cycle. Ability to operate material handling equipment safely; walkie stackers. Comfortabl in using computers for data entry. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
