Job Description

We''re seeking a working Bar Team Lead who thrives on the floor, leads through action and takes pride in delivering exceptional hospitality. This role is ideal for an experienced bartender or server who wants to step into a leadership position while continuing to work regular shifts. They are expected to lead by example, support teammates, and be part of creating an outstanding lounge experience for our members and guests. Reporting to the F&B Manager and Executive Chef, the Bar Team Lead plays a key role in daily operations, service quality, training, and inventorywhile remaining an active, visible presence on the floor. What You''ll Do Work regularly scheduled shifts, performing the same day to day service duties as the team. Lead by example during service and support the lounge and bar team through positive, hands-on leadership Set the tone for exceptional hospitality, professionalism, and teamwork Support onboarding, training, and ongoing development of team members Ensure smooth daily bar operations, high service standards, and consistent beverage quality Oversee bar ordering, inventory, stock rotation, and waste monitoring Maintain compliance with liquor licensing, health and safety, and responsible service standards Collaborate on cocktail menus, seasonal features, and promotions Support tournaments, events, and club-wide experiences Build strong relationships with members and guests and handle concerns with care and professionalism What You Bring 35 years'' experience in a bar or lounge environment, including senior bartender or lead experience Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wine, beer, and service standards Experience with inventory management and ordering Demonstrated natural leadership leading by example and staying engaged on the floor Calm, organized, and service-driven approach in a fast-paced environment Serving It Right certification required Private club or member-focused experience is an asset Physical aspects of this role include but are not limited to constant standing and walking throughout the shift, along with frequent lifting and carrying of items up to 30 lbs. Additionally, occasional kneeling, pushing, pulling, and lifting may be necessary.
