What You''ll Be Doing You will be working your shift in an area where the temperature is maintained between 0-6 degrees Celsius The main activity in this department is the picking of our customers'' customized food orders and combining them together in a shipping container, sorted by our delivery drivers'' routes Communicate continuously with the Lead(s) to understand what is required to be done for the current production day as per the Order Picking Driver Schedule Support and help Order Picking associates to ensure necessary materials are on hand for production needs Ensure all products are stocked in the correct areas as per the daily production requirements Conduct accurate inventory of product and request shorted items to applicable departments when needed in collaboration with Lead and/or Supervisor Ensure smooth flow of finished product from the Order Picking cooler to secondary storage Maintaining First In First Out (FIFO) for all products Help maintain overall organization of the Order Picking cooler throughout the day and without fail by end of day Support the Area Lead and/or Supervisor to ensure all policies and procedures are being adhered to consistently throughout the day What We Are Looking For 1+ years previous experience in food manufacturing, warehouse, or high-paced environment preferred Able to work in a high-paced warehouse environment with strict deadlines Comfortable working in a temperature controlled environment-the cooler is kept at between 0 to 6 degrees Celsius Able to stand on your feet for 8 hour shifts Ability to lift objects up to 50 lbs (23 kgs) Ability to push, pull, squat, bend, and reach above and below shoulders repetitively Extremely proficient at multitasking, detail-oriented, and adaptable under rapidly changing conditions Punctual attendance is essential Willing to work afternoon, evenings and weekend shifts as required You come to each shift with a positive attitude and willing to help your fellow team members What You Can Expect $21.24/hour Exclusive food perks that let you experience our amazing products An energetic, inclusive workplace where your voice matters and your contributions drive real impact Comprehensive health benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance after 90 days Opportunity to support innovation in Canada''s leading sustainable meal kit facility Be part of a certified B-Corporation making a difference in sustainable food systems Fresh Prep is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE) and prohibits discrimination of any kind.
