Job description: This position is responsible for coordinating inbound and outbound shipments, verifying documentation, and ensuring accurate inventory control. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills and experience in warehouse operations. You would be responsible for the efficient picking, checking, and packing of all customer orders. The Warehouse shipper Receiver also assists with receiving, and performs other duties such as general housekeeping, inventory checks, and quality assurance checks. The work is performed according to set practices and procedures and is of a routine nature. Must be able to Work Monday to Friday and some weekends Key Responsibilities Receive incoming shipments and verify quantities, documentation, and condition of goods Prepare and stage outbound shipments, ensuring proper packaging and labeling Load and unload trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material-handling equipment Maintain accurate shipping and receiving records in the inventory system Coordinate with carriers and internal teams to ensure timely deliveries Keep warehouse areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Excellent organizational skills required with the ability to work well independently under short time constraints Strong attention to detail required Good English verbal and written communication skills Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work well with all levels within the organization Knowledge of computer applications required Must be able to stand for long periods of time and able to bend/lift 5-50lbs multiple times throughout entire shift Previous experience in shipping/receiving or warehouse operations preferred Ability to operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment (certification an asset) Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Basic computer skills for inventory and documentation Experience in working and supporting safe material handling, packaging, and inventory control in a fast-paced operation Skilled in operating industrial forklifts while minimizing downtime Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Comfortable working in a warehouse environment Standing, bending, and moving for extended periods Job Type: Full-time Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: Casual dress Work Location: In person
