We are looking for a self-motivated Accounts Receivable Representative to join our team Key Responsibilities: A/R: Process and apply customer payments, including EFT, Visa, and MasterCard transactions Reconcile payments to customer accounts and investigate discrepancies as required Maintain automatic payment listings and ensure EFT payments are applied accurately Respond to member and internal inquiries related to account balances and payments Assist with monitoring accounts and escalating overdue balances when necessary Support the preparation of periodic customer statements and aging reports May perform after-hours credit hold removals as operationally required at 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m., Sunday through Friday; employees who perform this duty are eligible for 0.5 hours of paid or banked time per week when applicable General Accounting & Administration: Post deposits and assist with daily and month-end accounting tasks Maintain organized filing and recovery systems for financial records Assist with audit preparation and ad-hoc reporting as required Work collaboratively with other departments to resolve accounting-related issues Education & Experience Requirements: Diploma or certificate in accounting-related field Minimum 3 years relevant experience Experience with Accounts Receivable preferred Knowledge of Microsoft Office required; Microsoft Dynamics experience is an asset Other Qualifications: Strong attention to detail and analytical skills Professional, dependable, and team-orientated approach Able to maintain a regular and reliable work schedule Effective communication and organizational abilities Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines Successful candidates will be required to complete a criminal background check.
