POSITION SUMMARY: We are seeking a reliable and motivated Production Support team member to assist in our fast-paced production environment. This position will report to the Production Supervisor and will support our Label department. This role is essential to maintaining smooth workflow by transporting materials, assisting with press setup, monitoring quality during runs, and supporting packaging operations. The position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the flexibility to move between press helper and packaging duties as needed. Working closely with machine operators and other team members, you will play a key role in ensuring that production goals are met safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. This role operates on a day shift. 7am to 3pm Monday to Friday with mandatory overtime as required to support business demands. Responsibilities Transport materials to staging areas and assist with press setup as directed by operators Load and unload materials efficiently and accurately Monitor press runs, inspecting products for defects and removing scrap promptly Pack finished goods into boxes in correct quantities and label accurately Move pallets safely and quickly to support production workflow Record job production data and maintain accurate documentation Adapt between press helper and packaging associate roles as needed Follow operator instructions and maintain a clean, safe work area Communicate effectively with team members and contribute to a cooperative work environment Physical Demands Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during shifts Frequent bending, reaching, and handling of materials Regular lifting, pushing, or pulling of up to 40 lbs Manual dexterity and handeye coordination to assist with press adjustments and material handling Good eyesight and color recognition for quality inspections Comfort working in a fast-paced, noisy production environment with proper protective equipment Requirements/Qualifications Minimum of 1 year of experience in a warehouse or production environment preferred Familiarity with folding/gluing machines considered an asset Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills a plus Excellent attention to detail and commitment to product quality Strong communication skills and a proven team-oriented attitude Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed Physically fit and able to meet the demands of a busy production setting
