We are currently seeking professional Delivery Route Drivers based out of our Stoney Creek, ON warehouse location to service our Southern Ontario customers. Home daily, home weekends, overtime paid Job description Delivery Route Driver DZ and G class Type of Work: Full-Time, Permanent Hours of Work: Day Shift, Weekdays, Monday to Friday, 40-60 hours, Overtime Paid Delivery of pet food and products to retail customers on established routes within Ontario using G Class or DZ refrigerated box trucks Mix of dock and tailgate deliveries using pallet jack, hand cart, lift gate, and hand bombing Mix of city and rural town deliveries Requirements Commercial delivery experience DZ licence (preferred), G licence (minimum) Clean driver abstract and CVOR Proven ability to safely and effectively operate in all weather and road conditions in locations across Southern Ontario Knowledge of local roads, traffic patterns, and GPS navigation Ability to lift, carry, push, pull throughout the day (up to 50 lbs) and drive for extended periods Strong time-management and organizational skills Reliable, punctual, and dependable work ethic Good communication and customer service skills English language spoken, read, understood effectively Ability to accurately verify orders and delivery paperwork Must be able to work independently and follow company procedures Duties Safely deliver product to and from retail customers and suppliers in a timely manner Verify orders for accuracy before delivery and obtain customer signatures when required Maintain delivery logs, invoices, and other required paperwork Provide friendly, professional customer service at each delivery stop Follow assigned routes and adjust as needed for traffic or delivery priorities Perform daily pre-trip/post-trip inspection of truck and report any maintenance or safety issues to management Follow all traffic laws, safety procedures, and company policies Communicate effectively with dispatch and store staff regarding delivery status To Apply Email resume to: OR Visit us in-person at 745 S Service Road Unit #4, Stoney Creek, ON and drop your resume off to our management team Job Type: Full-time Pay: $22.00-$28.00 per hour Language: English (required) Work Location: On the road
