Job Summary We are a new startup automotive mechanic shop seeking a skilled Automotive mechanic apprentice to join our team. We primarily focus on servicing European makes (Audi, BMW, Jaguar, Land Rover, Mercedes, Porsche, Volkswagen) but also take on other makes as well (Both Domestic and Import). As a new Automotive shop, we recently completed building a new shop and looking to build a long term sustainable future from the ground up with the right motivated team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in automotive repair, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service. This role requires proficiency in using power tools and hand tools, as well as the ability to perform heavy lifting. The Technician will work in a fast paced, high quality environment, ensuring that all vehicles are maintained to the highest standards. Duties Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various vehicles to ensure optimal performance. Have a strong willingness to learn new skills and develop into a quality mechanic with excellent integrity. The ideal candidate will work together with our licensed journeyman towards obtaining their red seal certification. Utilize mechanical knowledge to diagnose issues and recommend appropriate solutions. Operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively during repair processes. Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols. By communicating clearly with the team leader regarding repairs and maintenance in order to provide excellent customer service. Assist in heavy lifting tasks related to vehicle parts and equipment as required. Experience Proven experience in a professional automotive repair facility. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently. Familiarity with power tools, hand tools, and diagnostic tools is highly desirable. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with clients. Ability to perform heavy lifting and maintain physical stamina throughout the workday.
