We are seeking an experienced Reliability Specialist to play a key role in driving equipment uptime, asset performance, and long-term reliability within a large, capital-intensive manufacturing environment. This is an opportunity to join a highly collaborative Reliability and Maintenance team at a site undergoing significant investment and modernization, where your expertise will directly influence operational excellence and future growth. What Youll Do Provide reliability engineering expertise to maintenance and operations teams to maximize equipment uptime Lead and participate in Root Cause Failure Analyses and reliability improvement initiatives Track, analyze, and improve Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF) for critical assets Develop, optimize, and manage preventative maintenance strategies and programs Represent Reliability and Maintenance on capital projects from design through commissioning Manage maintenance scopes during major planned shutdowns Maintain asset and entity structures within the sites maintenance system Develop and manage Bills of Material, ensuring appropriate inventory levels Lead budgeting and cost control for major maintenance projects, including variance tracking and reporting What You Bring Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology 5+ years of experience in a reliability or maintenance-focused role within an industrial setting Experience in kraft pulp mill and recaust plant operations is considered an asset Strong communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment High attention to detail with a proactive, improvement-focused mindset Why This Role?
