Responsibilities As Business Development Manager , you will drive brand specification through developers, consulting engineers, and key owners , using a top-down sales approach. You will work closely with the Canadian sales team to influence projects early and convert opportunities into wins. Develop and lead strategic action plans and annual forecasts for assigned accounts Build and maintain strong relationships with developers, engineers, and key decision-makers Drive brand specifications and support project pursuit by the sales team Manage project communication and client profiles (key accounts, engineers, end users) Support Industrial AML approvals when required Meet or exceed annual specification adoption targets Analyze competitive offerings and market trends Represent the organization at trade shows and industry events Qualifications Bachelors degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience in sales (Manufacturer or Engineering firm experience is an asset) Engineering degree considered an asset Strong Microsoft Office and computer skills Excellent presentation, communication, and relationship-building abilities Highly organized, detail-oriented, and results-driven Knowledge of sales channels (distribution, contractors, end users, specifying engineers) Experience Valve and piping systems knowledge, PVF distribution, and industrial manufacturing Strong professional sales and self-management skills Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines You would like to know more about this opportunity?
