This position requires full relocation to Saudi Arabia. It is a permanent full time Expat relocation package. Job Overview We are seeking a Drilling Engineer to join the Gas Drilling Engineering Department. The Gas Drilling Engineering Department is responsible for providing the development of gas drilling and workover engineering with non-associated gas and highly complex horizontal and vertical gas wells. Identifying and introducing innovations that enhance monitor and support operation and safety. Your primary role is to gather and analyze information to provide sound drilling technical support to drilling operations, drilling equipment, projects and drilling technical services requiring sound drilling engineering analysis and solutions. Key Responsibilities As the successful candidate you will be required to perform the following: Provides sound drilling engineering methods and procedures to be used on assigned drilling problems. Executes and accomplishes assignments and studies in areas outlined in the scope assuring conformance to overall objectives of all phases of drilling operations in areas including: drilling penetration rate optimization, new drilling technology and drilling studies. Provides technical assistance and advice to operating divisions on complex operating problems. Initiates detailed work outlines and performs or delegates work for final development of technical proposals and studies of proposed. Analyzes data and performance of new or existing techniques to determine need for or benefit from studies, recommendations and/or facility modifications with respect to unit costs and operating efficiency consistent with established safety and operating requirements. As the successful candidate you will hold a: Bachelors degree in Petroleum, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering or related Engineering discipline from an accredited university. 7+ years of experience in drilling field.
