Sr. Business Systems Analyst at TD Toronto, Ontario, Canada Work Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada Hours: 37.5 Line Of Business: Technology Solutions Pay Details: $76,800 - $115,200 CAD Job Description: This role will report to Snr. Manager and Pod Product Owner (PO) within the Product Group of the HR Platforms product family. Provide specialized business application and system management guidance and support for learning management (SumTotal and Thrive). Responsible for requirements gathering throughout the application lifecycle, business testing, and support of business process documentation and user support of the application. Experience & Qualifications Leverage specialized domain, product, and systems knowledge to have a thorough understanding of the business, product, and vision; provide business-technology interaction subject matter expertise as well as recognize and drive the focus toward business value. Strong knowledge of the Workday (WD) platform (HCM) and have working knowledge of WD business processes and security. Workday configuration experience. Participate in complex applications and systems development. LMS knowledge: Degreed, SumTotal and Thrive configuration. Integration knowledge Undergraduate degree or technical certificate 3+ years relevant experience Experience working in an Agile Delivery (Scrum) Experience with the following tools: JIRA and Confluence Knowledge of JTMF (Jira Test Management Framework) Integration experience working with Vendors (i.e. form layouts, associated fields and data, transfer protocols (SFTP, HTTP, HTTPS), authentication connectivity SSO (OIDC, SAML) and data transmissions (JSON, XML)). Nice to Have 1) Workday certifications (e.g. HCM, Recruit, Security, etc.) 2) Other Testing tools (i.e. HPALM, HPQC) 3) Experience working in an Agile Delivery (Kanban) 4) Stakeholder management experience (IT/ HR business owners) Customer Work with Learning team Business Partners and Vendors to gather and refine business requirements (understand goal, scope, and priorities) Ensure to capture story points, and knowledge of Features, and Epics, research potential solutions, design and configure Vendor tools (TD Thrive, Degreed and SumTotal) to best meet business requirements. Responsible for, plans and executes applicable testing required for all projects and major initiatives as defined by the bank''''s initiative delivery methodology: System Integration Test (SIT), execution and utilize documentation. Business Acceptance Test (BAT), execution and utilize documentation. UAT testing for initiatives and/or release maintenances. Responsible for business process documentation for all business applications owned/managed. Provide BAU support: assist with incoming Intakes and break-fix issues Responsible for daytoday operations process management to ensure consistency, provide Tiers 2 and 3 support for Thrive issues. Identify actions, workaround, and/or required configuration changes to resolve or address issues. Act as an escalation point for application and operation issues both directly and through internal/external business partners (including external vendors) Be the Subject Matter Expert on all aspects of how the Workday Recruiting platform supports and enables business processes underlying the full recruiting / talent acquisition life cycle. Shareholder Demonstrated ability to build relationships within the team and with key stakeholders. Continuously enhance knowledge/expertise in own area and keep current with leadingedge technologies trends/developments. Continuously enhance knowledge of business domains and their products/services Support the development of business cases including benefits identification. Support and/or implement solutions that mitigate risk and maximizes the availability of service, efficiency, and effectiveness. Ensure adherence to the Data Governance Framework Ensure adherence to guidelines and regulatory requirements under Privacy, Legal, Compliance, and the Office of the Chief Data Officer Employee / Team Participate fully as a member of the team, support a positive work environment that promotes service to the business, quality, innovation, and teamwork and ensure timely communication of issues/ points of interest. Breadth & Depth Experienced working professional role providing specialized business application management activities, advisory or process / program support within the Talent Acquisition knowledge space. Advanced knowledge of applications supported by the team including system components, functionality, interfaces, data flows, and business rules. Advanced understanding of business / functional drivers and processes supported for own area. Experience working in Waterfall and Agile Delivery (Scrum) Advanced analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to communicate with various business partners to explain complex technical issues with a business lens in easily understandable terms. Leads projects or work streams within broader projects with moderate risk and complexity, may be accountable for ongoing activities, processes, and functional programs. Exercises judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information. Work performed under minimal management guidance and supervision. Identify and lead problem resolutions.
