Position Overview The Accounts Receivable Clerk plays a key role in ensuring timely and accurate processing of customer payments, maintaining financial records, and supporting the overall health of the companys receivables. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments to resolve issues and maintain positive customer relationships. Key Responsibilities Proactively follow up on outstanding accounts and accurately allocate incoming funds Execute collections, and reporting activities in alignment with established deadlines Perform account reconciliations and resolve payment discrepancies Monitor customer accounts for non-payments, delays, and irregularities Maintain organized and up-to-date customer files and records Prepare bank deposits and process receipts in accordance with company procedures Investigate and resolve customer inquiries with professionalism and care Review AR aging reports to ensure compliance and timely action Initiate collection efforts and develop recovery strategies Support month-end closing processes and assist during audits Recipe for Success Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred) Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word Hands-on experience with QuickBooks and ERP is an asset Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment Advanced QuickBooks proficiency Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy Excellent organizational and planning abilities Experience with data analysis and information management Clear, professional written and verbal communication Why join The Crump Group?
