Your search is over a PSW with Home Care Assistance is the job for you! We are seeking 2 experienced PSWs for a high behavior non verbal 15 year old boy to provide safety and care in Bradford, ON. This is a 2:1 client. Shifts may vary from mornings to evenings and every other weekend. We are seeking individuals who are experienced with high behaviors, aggressive behaviors and exit seekers, to pick up shifts as needed. Job Benefits Competitive pay at $25per hour **with proven experience Benefits Plan availableafter working 30+ hours per week* 4% Vacation Pay on every pay Flexible hours and schedule 4 hour shift minimum The successful candidates areas of responsibility will include, but are not limited to, the following: Provide personal care, manage triggers effectively and have calming demeanor. Utilize care plan to the fullest and incorporate requirements to keep client as calm as possible. Providingcognitive, social, emotional, and spiritual support Provide behavioral support and crisis intervention Maintaining open communication with client and their family Monitoring care plan and adding documentation with any changes and updates daily Responding to all emergency situations All other duties, as assigned Key qualifications for this position will include, but are not limited to: PSW certification is required Valid First Aid/CPR certificate Completion of a Police Vulnerable Sector Check within last 6 months CPI training is an asset** Safe Management Drivers License and own insured vehicle mandatory Satisfactory professional references x2 Ability toaccurately follow written and verbal instructions Must be able to anticipate problems and use sound judgment and tact in handling confidential matters Please submit the appropriate documents for review.
