Role Specifics We are currently seeking one (1) full-time Primary Care Paramedic (PCP) located out of North Vancouver. This position is based at the Vancouver Shipyard and operates on a Monday to Friday schedule with no weekends or statutory holidays. The successful candidate will work an afternoon/evening shift from 14:30 to 22:30, with shift times subject to change based on client requirements. The PCP will provide acute and primary care to patients within a clinic setting, working cross-shift with a Registered Nurse to ensure continuity of care and consistent clinic coverage for a large employee population. This is a local Vancouver-based role; travel and accommodations are not provided. We are seeking to fill this position as soon as possible. Key Responsibilities: Provide primary and emergency medical care from the onsite medical clinic, including first aid coverage, follow-up care, and appropriate notification to the medical team Work collaboratively within a clinic environment, cross-shifting with a Registered Nurse (RN) to ensure continuity of patient care and clinic operations Practice to full PCP scope and deliver high-quality assessment, treatment, and clinical decision-making Support occupational health and wellness activities in alignment with client and regulatory requirements Liaise with on-call physicians and the broader healthcare team when escalation or consultation is required Complete required documentation, reports, and incident records accurately and in a timely manner Assist with health and safety observations or audits as required and document findings appropriately Support the RN or Wellness team with administrative and patient care tasks within PCP scope of practice Manage clinic equipment, medications, and supplies to ensure readiness and compliance at all times Maintain confidentiality of all patient and employee health information Perform other duties as assigned in support of clinic and site operations Skills and Qualifications: Hold a valid EMALB PCP license in British Columbia Experience in industry, remote or rural settings required (5 yrs) Ambulance experience is preferred Basic computer skills required for correct record keeping and document processes Proficiency in using medical charting system Knowledge and understanding of WorkSafe BC Regulations, BC Health Act, and OSHA recordability Ability to support managers and supervisors on attendance, accommodation and disability management-related issues Excellent organizational and communication skills with the ability to effectively manage day-to-day operations within an ever-changing work environment Demonstrated ability to write concise reports, prepare project plans, conduct workshops, and give presentations Conflict resolution experience and ability to persuade or influence individuals to change In addition to a highly fulfilling opportunity to put your unique skills and abilities to use in a values-driven company, your seat on the Iridia bus comes with: Competitive Salary Overtime opportunities Weekly educational sessions approved by EMALB for CME credits A values-driven, supportive work environment Consistent weekday schedule with evenings only (no weekends or stats) Schedule Monday-Friday: 14:30-22:30 (subject to change) Saturday-Sunday: Off Statutory Holidays: Off 8-hour shift inclusive of breaks #J-18808-Ljbffr
