As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for renting new or used light, medium and heavy trucks and commercial trailers to retail or wholesale customers. In addition, you will work with the rental team to maximize fleet utilization by managing available and incoming rental inventory while controlling costs. Some of the job duties include, but are not limited to: Providing exceptional customer service to customers either by phone or in person. Ensuring customer insurance coverage and driver information is current and meets requirements. Managing rental operations ensuring correct, accurate billing and correct product availability and delivery. Processing and completing rental agreements and other required paperwork. Ensuring all rental problems listed by customers are addressed according to company policy. Developing and maintaining competent product knowledge of all rental fleet units. Assisting with the delivery of units to customers or outside service vendors. Maintaining a positive company/customer relationship. Develop rental proposals. Negotiate the close of a sale of all rented products. Follow-up with and provide ongoing service to existing customers to ensure repeat and referral business. Sale Duties as required. Occasionally required to be on call. Other duties as required.
