Location Reports to $43,000 $48,000 Summary The Liberal Party of Canada is seeking a Projects Coordinator, National Field to work at the Partys National Office in Ottawa, joining a dedicated team of staff to support Mark Carney and our Liberal team. The National Field Program is a key pillar of the LPCs engagement and election readiness strategy. At its core, the program is about growing our movement for positive change, by leading conversations and engagement with Canadians. The Projects Coordinator, National Field is responsible for assisting the National Field Team in design and delivery of the tools, tactics and training resources. Working for the National Field Director and supporting the National Field Team, they are responsible for designing a volunteer engagement program, mapping out a timeline to grow the program, building and tracking Key Performance Indicators, and assisting in other election readiness related activities. What we are looking for Time Management Relationship Management Communication Planning and Organization Ability to plan events within budget Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and presentations What youll be doing Assist National Field team in completing projects on time and to specifications. Maintain accurate lists of key stakeholders for the National Field Team. Assist in mobilizing people across the Ottawa region for by-election calling, training sessions, etc. Draft National Field specific communications. Assist in compiling reports on progress to goal for the National Field Team. Manage logistics for various National Field related projects. Assist National Field Team with call time. Other duties as required. What youll need to have Strong Administration skills to track a wide array of projects and ensure they are completed on time. Strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to develop productive working relationships working with a wide-range of peers and stakeholders. Good judgement and decision making skills, and the ability to work with limited supervision. Resourcefulness and keen attention to detail. Ability to represent the LPC in a positive manner. Event management experience is an asset. Bilingualism (French/English) is an asset. Experience working in a professional office environment is an asset.
