Overview The Rec Room Hourly AV Specialist Edmonton Area The Rec Rooms Hourly AV Specialists are an integral part of the team who provide an exceptional gaming experience to each and every guest. Our amusement staff members are passionate about gaming and entertainment and look to bring their experience towards providing an exciting and engaging environment. Location City: Edmonton Responsibilities Provide technical support to a variety of entertainment offerings including music, comedy, screenings, interactive events, onstage conversations, corporate events and personal celebrations. Ensure a consistent standard of delivery for AV services which are best-in-class. Maintain in-venue displays and Crestron controls. Participate in regular maintenance program and ensure AV inventory is kept in a good state of repair. Appropriately handle delivery of materials to The Rec Room, internal and external. Complete reports on AV presentation for events. Work with service providers as required. Qualifications You have strong AV experience in audio engineering, stage lighting and video presentation. You have 3-5 years experience in live event AV production. You have a degree or Diploma in AV Production. You have a high degree of familiarity with emerging trends in AV Production and interactive technologies. You have excellent IT Skills specifically Microsoft Office. You have strong communication skills both verbal and written. You have innovative problem-solving skills and excellent time management. A familiarity with the local entertainment industry an asset.
