We want to see a portfolio that demonstrates an eye for design, basic technical skills, and your ability to translate raw ideas into polished assets. Fundamental to our success as an organization is building scalable processes. We want a Graphic Design Co-Op who loves to maintain organization of new files and implement systems to ensure smooth workflow and clear accountability. Learning Objectives: 1. Improve Graphic Design Skills (overall): Strengthen proficiency in digital, print, and video design using industry-standard tools including Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and Canva. 2. Brand-Driven Visual Communication: Gain real-world experience translating brand guidelines and complex information into clear, engaging, and on-brand assets across social, web, email, and product documentation. 3. Production & Asset Management: Learn to produce production-ready design files and implement organized asset management systems that support efficient workflows and scalability. 4. Professional Growth: Develop collaboration, communication, and feedback-iteration skills within a fast-paced startup environment, aligning design decisions with business goals. What you''ll be doing: Digital + Print production [60%] + Executes weekly content creation for social and paid channels + Creates layouts for newsletters + Uses video editing capabilities to produce assets. + Translates complex technical information into user-friendly install guides +Infuses the Fittes brand into all assets Organization and Optimization [20%] + Supports website maintenance efforts by refreshing website banners and visuals to keep the digital storefront current + Ensures files are correctly tagged and organized to support smooth workflows Development and Collaboration [20%] + Builds organizational knowledge to better understand the business content behind design requests + Partners with Graphic Designer to assess information through the correct brand lens when making design decisions. You''re a good fit if you: + Are currently enrolled in a Commercial Art, Graphic Design, marketing, Visual Communications, or Web Design post-secondary program + Are great at video editing and production for social channels [Meta, TikTok, YouTube] + Are an effective communicator + Are comfortable in a scrappy start-up environment where resourcefulness is key and you know you will make mistakes to learn from + Live for organization and finding better ways to do things + Take pride and pleasure in producing high quality work + Like to have fun (we take our customer experience seriously, but not ourselves) + Have he following tech stack: Adobe Creative Cloud [specifically InDesign and Illustrator] Canva Figma Your Superpowers: + Attention to detail + Collaboration + Data literacy + Analytical creativity + Creativity and Innovation + Initiative + Content Marketing + Fostering Communication What''s in it for you?
