Job Description

Our client is looking for a Workday Time and Absence Senior Associate to join their Workday consulting practice and support organisations through HR and workforce transformation. This is a client facing role where you will work on end to end Workday programmes, helping customers design, configure, test, and adopt Workday solutions that improve operational efficiency and strengthen HR service delivery. You will collaborate with experienced consultants and stakeholder groups across HR, Payroll, and IT, gain exposure to a wide range of industries and Workday environments, and be supported with ongoing development, training, and certification opportunities in a fast paced, delivery focused team. Role summaryProvide functional consulting across Workday, with a primary focus on Time Tracking and Absence ManagementPartner with client HR, Payroll, and IT teams to translate business needs into Workday solutionsConfigure, test, and support Workday Time and Absence to drive adoption and operational efficiencyDeliver client workshops, training, and knowledge transfer to enable self-sufficiencySupport reporting and integrations requirements tied to Time and Absence outcomesKey responsibilitiesLead and document client requirements for Time Tracking and Absence Management, including end to end impactsConfigure Workday Time and Absence (and related business processes) aligned to approved requirements and best practicesSupport testing activities (test scripts, execution support, defect triage, and resolution of configuration issues)Create and deliver training materials and facilitate knowledge transfer to HR and super user groupsContribute to functional specifications for reports and integrations connected to Time and Absence processesRequired experience and skillsPrior consulting experience in HCM or HRIS (in house or advisory), ideally focused on time, attendance, or absenceHands on experience with Workday or another ERP or time platform (for example PeopleSoft, SAP, Oracle, Kronos, Infor)Experience running client workshops and supporting implementations and post go live technical supportStrong communication skills with the ability to work with stakeholders at different levelsStrong attention to detail, organization, and analytical problem solving skillsNice to havePayroll solution experience and or payroll implementation exposureExperience supporting reporting requirements (functional specs, validations, user testing support)Experience supporting integrations requirements (requirements gathering and functional specification support)Experience troubleshooting data conversion, business process setup, and end user adoption issuesCommitment to working effectively with diverse teams and perspectivesWork model and compensationHybrid work environment (expectations set by the hiring team based on location and client needs)Base salary range: $90,000 to $130,000 CAD (varies by location, skills, and experience)Eligibility for variable incentive pay programs (based on individual and firm performance)Comprehensive total rewards and benefits shared during the interview processWorkday certification maintenance is expected as part of the role
