Art Director (Contract In-Office Toronto) Were looking for an Art Director who can lead creativelyandexecute at a high level. This is a hands-on role for a designer who thrives in the workconcepting, designing, refining, and delivering across brand, digital, print, and motion. Youll own creative output end-to-end while collaborating closely with strategy, production, and clients. This is not a remote or purely conceptual position. Youll be embedded with the team in our Toronto office and actively involved in day-to-day creative execution. What Youll Do Lead creative direction while remaining deeply hands-on in design execution Design and deliver work across branding, campaigns, websites, social, print, and video Translate strategic direction into strong, cohesive visual systems Art direct and contribute to video, animation, and motion projects Present work to clients clearly and confidently Maintain brand integrity and elevate creative quality across all deliverables Manage timelines, priorities, and feedback in a fast-paced agency environment Collaborate closely with designers, animators, and producers while setting clear creative direction What Were Looking For 36+ years experience in an agency or in-house creative environment A strong portfolio demonstrating hands-on design excellence and ownership Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma Strong understanding of typography, layout, brand systems, UX/UI, and visual storytelling Experience contributing to video, motion, and animation projects Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities Clear communicator with strong presentation skills Self-directed, accountable, and proactive Role Details Contract position In-office role based in Toronto Start date and contract terms to be discussed If youre an Art Director who still loves designing, and wants real ownership inside a growing creative agency, this role is for you.
